Tech day!
1330 sharp we will start and I arrive at 1300
Lights  still being strung ...whats new
Every time its the lights!
Person perched precariously positioning points

Rescheduled to 1430
Tune guitar check. Reed moistened for sax check.
Ready to strum and ready to whistle but
Lights still being positioned by perched person

Rescheduled to 1530
Kindle time - thank god for it
Words still my comfort; on or off stage
Lights! Still not done...repositioning going on

Tech at 1600
Blocks on stage, Park benches off
I have a patient at 1700
Must call the clinic

Tech at last
Time 1630
Patient rescheduled
And the show goes on
