UNDER THE SETTING SUNS

 

In a land steeped in ancient lore

with horizon fringed by crimson shadows

Within the rage of a medichlorian storm

Disturbed were the setting suns by crying

Remaining a faint memory that year

Unknown father and slave mother

A great warrior he was to be

 Admixed in equal measure his blood

with dominant good and frightful bad

balance He was supposed to bring 

Pod racer was this fiesty youth 

 freedom won in the Tatooine run 

Paduan became he Under Qui-Gon Jinn

But MasterYoda had second thoughts, misgivings

Clouded the boy's future was

A master became Obi Wan Kenobi

after the killing of Qui-Gon Jinn

learned from him the boy did of the force

and mastered the art of the Jedi

yet thirst he did for more

The Sith Lord Sidious with dark intention

Seeded the brain of young skywalker

A glimpse to a path unclear but formidable

that drew power from the dark shadows

In two minds was he

In a dream not long therafter

He heard the cries of his mother abducted

 back to the land of his birth he went

Tatooine that lay under twin suns

To a desert camp his search did lead

What happened then in blinded rage

Was recorded by some as the beginning

Unleashing fury he ravaged and rampaged 

Changed his fate and the course of the galaxy

under the setting suns
