1994 - 97 NOTES TO NO ONE

1994-97
While reading Dentistry, I had a notepad for scribbling random thoughts. Here they are in no particular order.

Share - When you need someone to hold when you're alone
Share - When your nest is empty and all your friends have flown
Share - When you're feeling lost and need a heart to find
Share - to lift the burden and get some peace of mind

Two heads, watching a crimson sky, measuring their lives by the depth of the sunset.
Two heads, watching the end of togetherness like footprints erased by a surging tide

And I saw you by the wall in a tiny glimpse of time
but I also saw a calmness that I'd never seen at all
I saw you by the wall from the corner of my eye
I've only said goodbye but yet I feel so wrong
I can't express myself in words but maybe in a song

It speaks of mindless sorrow, of a constant hoping heart
and all the joy I shared with you before we had to part
I guess it was a setup, a funny game of chance
But the look in your eyes, filled my soul

I think I might just fall in love
time will tell I'll wait and see
and if I do I promise you,
I'll make you see the man in me

For there's a lot in me to give
and there's a lot to share
for you will give a joy beyond
the universe compare

Anger fills my mind with passion, clutters up my thoughts and actions
I don't need this aggravation, this chaos, this agitation
Help me if you think you can. I need someone to hold my hand
Lead me from this pit of darkness. To the rolling fields of calmness

I've got so much hatred in me. Do things without thinking clearly
The aftermath filled with repentance. Riding the crest of common sense
