YES, IT WILL BE
Yes, it will be,
but when undisclosed, lies strewn,
the carcasses of so many variables
the chatter in the dark, leaving stark
the sound of loneliness
Yes, it will come to pass, but when ?
And until then what of the nervous twitches ?
The involuntary neural responses,
left pooling between connected dots
Doubts inhabiting out of habit
along the fringes of imaginary spaces
A ring of speculation encircling
Yes, it will be,
Judging from the past I need worry not
just pay heed to the wisdom of patience
just wait and hold the eagerness cloaked
reined tight; gathered within
Yes, it will come to pass, until then
What of the rustling sewn
into folds of fabric that hides
within its weave, the urge to scream ?
to break free from life's shackles
and announce from the highest peaks,
to shout aloud from the tallest tower
that life spins upside down
whenever you're around
