Does it surprise you 

when No thing 
Nothing speaks louder

than silent conjecture

with empty punctuation

making every lost second

echo even longer

The quiet pause after

the last word uttered

speaking volumes

yet remaining hanging

on that imaginary 

clothesline of meaning

Drip-drying

collected unspoken thoughts

Causing to censure

the tongue in mid speech

Unsure of what to say

to whom and when

Unsure of the ominous secrecy

gathering in clouds

of an internal storm

Seeded by something that

one cannot put a finger on

Nothing started it

The nothing that comes

from nothing, yet carries

something infinite

something scary

something hidden from humanity

The fear of stillness

unleashed from unknown

that nothing can

find an answer to

While you search 

for anything to compensate

Something to alter your fate

while saying nothing

and doing everything

to throw light

on the pervading gloom

in hope that Something

will lift the nothing soon
