If the universe were to inspire would you give in ?

and the stars aligned could you cave in ?

For that briefest of crushes

For that shortest of blushes

Or would you be too faint hearted to begin

If invited to where heavens herald romance

would you partake in the angels dance ?

For that evanescent bliss

For that transient relish

Or would you be hesitant to take the chance

If blessed for a moment would you embrace anonymity ?

If chance steered the wheel would you shorten proximity ?

For that fleeting stir

For that tactile transfer

Or would you douse the sparks of electricity

If you reached the edge of existence would you dive ?

In the thrill of free fall would you feel alive ?

For that rush of air passing

That leaves you short and gasping 

Or would you back into normalcy's archive
